Hotel Advice....

Hi, I am currently planning a trip with a couple of my friends to Cedar Point... We really want to get a hotel room instead of driving 3 hours back home. The only problem is that we are only 17. Are there any hotels that will let us stay without a parent or guardian present? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks. :)

(The quality of the hotel doesn't have to be too great either...)
Doubt it... insurance reasons.. liability reasons...

You have to be 21 to stay in most--if not all--Sandusky area hotels. This is in accordance with Ohio's underage drinking laws.

Could they bring a tent and stay at the campground or any other campground in the area?

Ohio law requires you to be 18. Reality is that hotels can be held liable for harbouring underage consumption, so most will not allow you to stay unless you're 21.

Futuristic bow-wow... do the dog catcher!
If you are 18 you can stay at any super 8 motel...I have before in sandusky on rt 250.
The Holiday Inn on Route 250 also takes 18 year olds. You just have to have everyone in your party along with yourself sign the hotel paper that says you will not consume any alcoholic beverages during your stay.
Wow.. that almost sounds like the old roadtrips you took in high school band.. Do they come around and put a piece of tape on your door so they can tell if you went out also??? hehehehe
