Hooray for Memories

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site and just wanted to say thanks to its creators and forum posters for maintaining such a great place. Week-long trips to Cedar Point (staying at the Breakers) have been a tradition in my family for over 30 years, before I was even born (getting to the age where you can bring a friend on the trips is nothing less of a rite of passage in my family). Unfortunately, due to work and other responsibilities, I haven't been able to attend for the past two trips. I found this site completely by accident, and reading all these posts has really brought back some amazing memories. So thanks for being here!

Does anyone remember the Cedar Point video sold in the gift shops about a decade ago? I very highly doubt the same version is still being sold, it's so out of date, but I constantly get that cheesy, early-90s "Get to the Point" song stuck in my head. Sometimes I wonder if I was one of the only people that bought it...

How about the "Come On, Get On, Cedar Point" song from last year's commercials and music video. I still have that song stuck in my head. Maybe that is because it still plays on the midways.

BTW, if anyone likes the Cedar Point videos, there are a few different ones available at Pagoda. They also have the Discovery Channel "World's Largest Amusement Park" which is one of the favorites in my coaster video collection.
