When you come around the back entrance to CP (along the lake, not the causeway) and make the left turn into CP, you'll notice about three or four homes right on the lakefront, adjacent to the parking lot. Why wouldn't CP buy these homes to add more parking or to use for a new coaster maybe? Or, are the owners holding out for rediculous sums of cash. Lastly, does anyone of note own them?
One is the home of Richard Kinzel. Another is owned by a Kasper (local auto dealers). The home right on the curve - the one with the Vacuflow guys - has been for sale off and on for a few years with no success. So it would appear that CP has had the opportunity to buy at least one of them. Why not? Maybe they feel that they land is too narrow. Maybe since Mr. Kinzel lives there, the neighbors get immunity :)
