Holiday Lighting in Effect

I drove by Cedar Point tonight with my girlfriend and the holiday lighting is now in effect. We stopped by Battery Park and were able to see most of the rides lit up in some way or another. MF was fading between all red, all green, and a third scheme of red-green-red-green. Power Tower was rotating between all white, green towers with a red top, and red towers with a green top. Magnum, Blue Streak, Raptor, Giant Wheel, and Space Spiral were all lit up as well in their normal lighting schemes.

Overall the park really does look amazing with everything lit up on such a cold, winter night. But the Christmas colors and a nice touch to it all.

I was thinking about that today. On my way to work I saw two signs. One was my exit for work, "Route 57 south Elyria" (hell) and the other one said "Route 2 west, Sandusky (heaven). I had my camera in my car and wad debating being late to work for about 2 hours to go to the point. It was around sunset two so I could have got some great pictures. I did not know it was up yet so I balked. DARN!! Toys "R" Us is not really hell, but it is no match for CP.

Yes, I totaly agree, it is the season of giving. LOL. It would be sweet if CP had the web cam up so we could see it.

Will they keep it lit after Christmas? I'd like to go up and get pictures, but with work and all, especially this time of year, its kinda difficult. I hope they keep it lit all off-season
