Hildebrandt to speak!

Got a link in my daily news update this morning--

With a headline like "Cedar Point's Top Dog Talks" I half expected that we were going to hear from Snoopy, but he doesn't talk. According to the article, though, "...Between the Lines Live will try to get Cedar Point general manager John Hildebrandt to spill the beans when he is the featured guest at 3 p.m. Friday at sanduskyregister.com."

Wow. Hildebrandt is going to speak to the Register. That certainly seems like a step in the right direction!

I wonder how he pulled that off; it seems that his boss has been doing most of the talking this season.

Can we ask the reporter to pat him down and check for an earpiece and wire before the interview begins?

I wouldn't expect an earpiece; Mr. Hildebrandt is quite capable of speaking for his park. I just wish he was given the opportunity to do so more frequently. But do watch out for the shock collar. :)

I like Hildebrandt... in the rare occasion that I got to talk to him he was very nice. Can't wait to her what he has to say to the register!

I hope it's an announcement! I'm too excited to find out what the new ride will be for 2011.

They asked your question somewhat, but you really think they would discuss that publicly at this point? Clearly, discussions are underway between the 2 parties as John said, but they aren't going to give details on that.

Plus, usually the boldest typeface on any legal settlement is the confidentiality agreement.

It was also a pretty pointless interview as well.

Why people were asking questions about the new attraction is beyond me. You know he can't answer them kind of questions. It will be announced in a week or two, I could have thought of much better questions to ask.

I coulden't hear his response about ocean motion being up for sale.

^He tried to avoid talking about it. He was like trying to talk about Millennium and the interviewer was like "so is Ocean Motion up for sale?" Hildebrandt really never said if it was or not. We all know the real answer though. :)

If I had been quicker witted, I would have asked if guests will have a 'fun time' on the new ride.

I knew he couldn't answer it fully. I just wanted to see what his response would be.
