Yes, the high quality videos issued each week from CP's website are the same as in the gallery, but they are very clear and faster and you have to download them to your computer. Its actually in Quiketime though, if that's what your wondering.

so does anyone have the digital/cartoon movie that they showed in last year's commercials?? I think cb bound has it but it doesnt look like thats gonna work out too well

MDOmnis, thanks a lot for that video that is the exact one that I was looking for... man that is a blast from the past - it is interesting how MF looks a lot brighter in the computer generated preview of the skyline.

It is the one that starts off showing Power Tower/Mantis with the Force off in the distance, goes out to the bay and zooms in on MF. It's not the complete ride, just an overview of the layout, some of the lift, the drop, first turn, and the part right up until the tunnel.

The QT movie in the gallery is the highest quality MF POV available on the Internet, period. It's about 10 MB (God bless Sorenson), 30 fps and 320x240.

Jeff, I've been trying to download the one in the gallery, and I get an error. I don't know if everyone else is, but when I try to open the Windows Media version, I get
"Cannot open 'mms://popw.com/cpmfpov.wmv'. Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again."
Not sure if its my computer or something on the server.

Sounds like a firewall issue. It comes into a different port (I think 1755) than web traffic, so it's probably blocked.
