I say bring back that upside down funhouse, that thing was the sh*t! I like the ending on that ride, That big slide that you didnt know where it was going to end up. Back to the topic, I for one will not mind what CP builds. If CP's track record is one for the records, then this ride will do that.. If I remember didn't Cedar Fair say they are going to upgrade the park with improvements until 2004? Does that mean rides and paint jobs?
Until I see some more evidence, I'm going to say this is a up and down ride. Is that really a bad thing? We got a coaster last year too!
I was watching the "Worlds Largest Park" video the other day and when they were in the planning and development section they mentioned plans for the next 5 years. This video was made around 2000 so I'd say there's still a year or two left for new rides, renovations and who knows what.

But no matter what the mystery ride turns out to be I'd still make another 2,400 mile (round trip) drive to visit the park and ride it.

By looking at the number of supports in the parking lot, does it look like the course of the track will be only an out and back or are there a lot of supports which tell that the ride will be longer?
Sometimes I think people expect too much from the park. Like how some people are still convinced #16 will be a dueling/racing coaster...

We really don't have to worry about it being "only" 300 feet.

Jeff, I know that the construction is showing that this thing is going to be big, but are officially hinting that this is going to be the tallest full curcuit coaster? :)

Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot that your not aloud to give those things away. :)

Haha, very good point. You could say the same thing about Xcelerator - there are some that don't think that the 2 overbanks add much to the ride...

As of right now there aren't too many supports in the lot that look like they are for something other than the main tower (with the exception of the tan supports, which would be the launch/brakes).

Since I have no idea, I was just wondering: Jeff, do you know what the ride is going to be like or are you just speculating like everyone else?

How many times does it have to be said.....they cannot litter the parking lots with pieces of this new ride while the park is still open. Just wait till the end of October. When the park is closed. If more stuff doesnt arrive, then you can worry!

the tan supports are for EVERYTHING except the tower... all the yellow we have in the Soak City parking lot will be over 200ft off the ground
Jeff, I didn't know you are that old! :)
