They check me,
I’m good,
Now they let me go.
I move.
Creeping cautiously,
to my journey up ahead,
All I hear is,
”clickidie clack,”
”clickidie clack”
A hundred feet to go,
”clickidie clack,”
”clickidie clack”
I’m at the top,
I look over the edge,
I see nothing.
Nothing behind, above,
to the right,
or to the left.
I become blind to the world around me.
The track disappears.
I wonder where it went.
But I soon find out.
Over the edge I go,
straight down,
very fast and furious.
I swerve left and right,
and up and down.
Missing every tree I see.
The wind blows on my face.
The rush of adrenalin.
Can I take anymore??
Yes.
And here it comes.
Through the loops,
the twists,
the corkscrews, and turns.
The dips,
the dives,
the spiral way, way down.
The finish,
its almost over,
and it happened too soon.
Around and around,
and around I go.
I glide to the end,
I hit the breaks.
I stop.
I creep onto the platform,
the ride has finished.
I scream and cheer,
as loud as I can.
Now, I have ridden the ride of life,
And,
I have found the ride of life,
is the best ride of all.
Thats my Poem. I just felt like posting it. I also remember someone else posting a poem here but I couldnt find it.
