Help! Planning Trip To the Point!

Hey Guys! Well First off, im planning a two day trip to Cedar Point in June with nine of my friends and I have it all planned out excpet! What should we do about food? Would it be cheaper to buy food at the park or would it be cheaper to go into town when we get there and buy a bunch of food and keep it in our hotel rooms?
Thanks
Where are you staying?

You can bring food in your hotel room, well, I know you can in Sandcastle so you can probably in Breakers too. Some hotel rooms have refrigerators in them. But if you want more info on food in the park, go here:

Stop at Meijer's on 250 on your way in! It's the second-biggest attraction in Sandusky after Cedar Point! ;) All rooms at Sandcastle and everything but the HR2D's and HR1K's at Breakers have dorm-sized refrigerators.

Definately take your own food, to a point. We keep a cooler in our room at the Breakers, so even if we don't have the dorm fridge we can have cold sodas and such. Donuts for breakfast keep you from splurging in the park, and Breakers is just a quick walk away from the fun! It's nice to be able to take that little break. Buy the juices in glass bottles if you like juice in the morning, that always works well. But don't forget to at least sample the Park's quisine!

Buying food in Sandusky is smart and thrifty! What more do you want? Definitely shop at Meijer, that's an experience in and of itself. We've never had a problem taking food into the hotel rooms.
Why is everyone so amazed at Meijer? It is a just a grocery store that we Erie County residents shop at.
Yeah that is what I wanted to know. Why is that Meijer's so great we have em all over where I live but they are no big deal!
Anyway, definately bring your own food to the hotel they will allow it at Breakers and it is easier, too.

You can only know how much fun Meijer's is if you've been there between 2 and 6 am! It's the perfect time to hone in on your shopping cart racing skills....

You forgot to add that it only costs a penny to ride the dinosaur at the front of the store :)
That in itself is interesting at 4am!!

If you are going to be shopping that early before you go to CP, I suggest Meijer Tag. It's fun to play hide n' seek in that big place, but try not to get too wild or you'll get kicked out...not that I know anything about that......:)

Question: How do you explain the actions of millions of people who wait hours upon hours to be dropped down a hill???

Answer: You don't...
