Help! What is a good 1 1/2 Day Strategy?

Need help from experienced park-goers. We are travelling from out of town for our first experience to CP. We will arrive sometime in late afternoon on a Wed and have all day Thursday before we need to leave on Friday morning. My question is, is Soak City worth going to for 1/2 day on Wed and then doing CP all day Thur? If so, what is the best pass to purchase to get the most bang for the buck? Are there other less expensive things to do in the area that will entertain three kids (9,6,3) for 1/2 day?

Well, you may want to hit Soak City on Wednesday. You will have enough time to do everything if you stay till close at 8 or 9. I am guessing that some of your children are under 48 inches, which means that you get a highly discounted rate. The three year old is free. You can buy discounted Soak City tickets at AAA offices in Ohio.

For the next day, I'd take a look at many of the websites around here. There probably isn't much though as far as a strategy guide for families with young children.
