Hello From Erie PA!

Been reading the board for close to a year now, thought id finally join and BS about the park!

Went Aug 15th and had most likely the worst day I've had at the park. Overcrowded and got on 4 rides due to the lightest sprinkles possible. Waited for TTD for 3 hours due to rain. But it was cool riding Mantis last two rides of the night up front with the fireworks at eye level!

Anyone from the Erie area?

I live south of you. Do you get to CP very much?

Well, I usually get to CP once a summer, but my college program starting this fall is 2 continuous years(no summer break) so I wont be going much. Since I had a good experience with Halloweekends a few years back. I'd like to try again. Thinking of going Sept 22-23. I'm guessing since its only sept crowds will be "lighter."

Don't bet on it. The nicer weather in September can draw a pretty good sized crowd.

Still worth going, but don't be surprised to find the park packed if its a really nice Saturday.

Sounds like you had a bad day.

I live 1/2 hour south of erie in Conneaut Lake. But I will be in Erie alot more when RF2 opens at Waldameer.
