Im planning on going to cedar point with a friend who's about 6 foot 7 and around 240 lbs. Im worried he won't be able to go on any of the rides. Will he be okay or should he not waste his money?

Although it is hard to determine. I think that he will be alright. My friend is 6'4" and about 230 and he has never had a problem. I have never heard of any height requirements.

Peace, Mikey

I'm 6'2ish and I have trouble with Wicked Twister. Mine Ride is also going to be out.

Magnum and Corkscrew will be tight. After that, the newer Intamins are much more forgiving for height.

You might have a hard time with Corckscrew, maybe Iron Dragon, Wicked twister, Mantis(if the seat thing doesn't go up that high)& Mine Ride. I think thats it. But there is still alot of other coasters!!!

For the long legged heres the places to sit on CP's coasters:
The Streaks: Anywhere but the front row of a car
Corkscrew, Gemini, Magnum: Front row of a car
CCMR: Be sure to cross your legs before sitting down

I would give it a try. I'm 6'8" and 275 lbs and I can fit in almost every ride (very tight fit, but not painful).

A LOT depends on body type/shape, however. And you definitely have to be wise about which row you sit in on most coasters - I'd recommend getting to the platform and peering over people to see which rows give the most leg room, then giving it a try.

Just a couple I can think of that I don't ride due to height: Maxair, Mine Ride.

Good luck!

^I can and Im as tall as you are, but I cant ride WT. It depends on how you are built if you are "all legs" you can forget riding on CCMR, where as if you have a longer torso WT will be a tight fit.

Well I am 6'5" here 190lbs and can fit in everything. Some of the coasters are a tight fit. Wildcat I wait for the front row and I still feel like I am in a sardine can. Mine Ride is a must to cross your legs on. Mantis is one that for a few of the operators you may have to explain that you can't put your body as how they want you to as you have to squat a little. Iron Dragon beware not to bad getting in just a pain getting out of the bathtub cars. Also beware of others not paying attention on using your shoulder restraints as a support to get out on. As a few years back a young kid literally smashed my back with mine as I was climbing out and was in some pain for awhile.

Other than that the only ride I may see problems with could be with TTD since they may nit pick on where your head rest on the head rest.

I'm 6'5, about 220ish, and I fit on everything. CCMR takes some leg crossing, but other than that, none of the rides are that bad for me. And I have some pretty long legs.
