Have you felt the Force lately?

I don't know how many people have noticed this but the Force is flying lately. When I rode the front seat back in May it lacked airtime but the other day I couldn't keep my butt on the seat. Is it me or has this ride just getting better and better each day. For those of you MF critics and you know who you are give this ride another chance. If you rode in June come back and ride again in August this is not the same ride you rode. I am Out!!!
that post made me cry. looks like i wont get to go again this year. :(

3 Force rides:
3-2, 5-1, 9-2
Yes it has been running great as of late, I think that they have the wheel situation under control that the ride is running better.

I rode it 3 times on May 31st -once in the front, once in the second row, and once in the third row. I thought the airtime was incredible, especially on the third hill.

I'm going again next Thursday, and I can't wait, since you say it's even better!!!!!!!
Gooober and I went Sat. 8/5 and got to ride 3 times. 1st car 2nd seat and then front seat the other 2 times. The airtime in the front seat can hardly be described. In the other 19 times I have ridden I have only had the front seat twice.

BTW TTR worked out great on Sat. Our wait time for both lines was about 1 hour. A great improvement over our June 24th TTR fiasco.

I was at the park on Friday, but did not ride it. From watching though, to me it looks like it is moving a lot faster and is running through it's circuit a lot smoother.

:(:(:(:(:( I want to go again, but I doubt I will be able to!!!
Yes, I agree. I was there on Saturday (8-5) too. I rode the front seat and it is undescribeable. I think you get atleast 14 seconds of air. 5 on both the second and third hill, about 3 seconds on the drop and 1 second on the bunny hop. Can you imagine if they incorporated more hills on this thing. *** This post was edited by FireDragon on 8/7/2000. ***
Can't wait to go the 13th...I went in June and now I'm REALLY excited to go again especially since I got my rides on DT, Corkscrew, Mine Ride, etc. for the year so I can focus one whole day on the BIG stuff!!!! Thanks for the info.
A fellow employee informed me that with the new wheels Millennium is hitting around 94 just because of the new sqweaking wheels. Whatever it is, 5-1(the best overall seat on the train) is getting more airtime than i ever thought possible on Millennium - Its insaine.

Yes, with the new wheels MF is now offering the most sustained air in the park. Magnum may have a few more air hills but I would think MF now has more total airtime in seconds. MF is really flying, the new wheels have made a great ride even better.
I'm with ya Pete it is out there!!!
I have to agree with everyone on this! I am eating my own words after saying I was getting bored with MF! That was July 3rd. I rode twice this past weekend and amazed at how it has broken in! Not just the airtime, but the intensity as well!
BTW-I finally did the TTR saturday(which was a zoo). i got in the line right after 11am and it took 20 minutes to get ticket. i was a little peeved about it. My time slot was 1-2pm. I went back to MF before 2 and waited 30 minutes. So overall,it does work. But, it's still confusing. for a Saturday that was PACKED,it worked great!
How many rides did you get in, Magnum Man and how packed was it?
Once Saturday and once Sunday.
Saturday was busy enough to use the upper deck on the Space Needle! And all the gondolas on Giant Wheel were being filled, with the queues full! Magnum had a 1 hr 15 min wait.
Sunday was busy, but not as bad. Rode MF in evening.Waited an hour.
WOW. What a difference a few months and new wheels makes. I say replace ALL the wheels with the new type! Who's with me!??! I was actually LAUNCHED out of my seat and into the lap bar in every seat I sat in, on all the hills, even the floater hill. I was there friday, and am looking forward to go back again. MF is nothing like it was in may, this thing has some major bite to it now.
Reading this was so depressing knowing I couldn't get to ride it one more time this season.:( My last ride was on June 21. 2 days ago, one of my friends just sprung this question on me. "Hey, do you want to go to Cedar Point on Monday?", I am so excited to be able to ride Millennium Force again. I guess that I will post my experiences tomorrow after I recouperate from my day at the point.
I rode MF this past Thursday after not having rode it since June and it is just fantastic - I am falling in love with this thing even more! I rode in the middle and had excellent air over every hill and loved it! But my impression was that (if there are new wheels) the smooth-as-glass feeling was replaced by a more metallic rumbling. Any comments?
I rode in 8-2 my first ride of the day. Then my last ride of the year was up front. I asked if the four guys in front of us wanted to go ahead of us, and they said yes. I didn't know how close we would be from getting at the turnstyle, but once the op came back, she said she needed four riders.....YAHOOOO! It was better and faster than EVER! This thing was flying! My friend had his cousin tagging along and there was 3 of us so his cousin wanted to sit with him. I was dead set on riding up front, so they rode 2-1. Since there was a seat left, I yelled, "Anyone want to ride up front?" Another teenager came up front, and was as pumped as I was. This was his 2nd ride, and his last ride was way in the back, and this was in the very front.

THIS RIDE ROCKS!!!!!!
What surprised me was how constant the intensity was. Instead of hitting Gs at the tops and bottoms of the hills and in some of the turns, like I expected, it felt like one continuous force from beginning to end!
