Interestingly, I don't think that is the story that you will read during halloweekends in the fright zone when the horse is on display. Correct me if i'm wrong.

ONE freeway stamp a day... ONE
*** Isn't the the "haunted horse" the "military horse," not the "armoured horse?" *** "Cold chill" in the arcade? I don't think it has an AC!? *** Super Saver said: "and I've heard the infamous "marble sound" on the top floor of Hotel Breakers. Just for the record, does Breakers even have an attic? And for those who don't know, the "marble sound" has been reported in many multi-story haunted buildings. It sounds like a couple hundred million marbles being dropped on the floor above and then rolling across the floor." The marble sound is the Power Tower when it drops...I've heard this myself. *** Of the pictures taken of the "haunted horse" there is only one left from the ones posted that actually exist. This one *** Voodoo asked why they only kept the one horse at CP when the carosaul moved to Dorney...well, there were three that were kept...check out the picture labeled "This one." *** Do wierd things happen at "Undertaker U?" Or around that area? *** Some people like to "spook" themselves. *** My daughter and her friend tried the balcony thing...needless to say, they felt nothing. Might be more fun to try at night during halloweekends though...my daughter's friend LOVES to spook herself! *** I think it's funny to go into Fright Zone and watch the screamsters scare the guests. "Pat"...screamster even scared a big burly biker looking guy last week when we were visiting the park...it's pretty funny to see the startled looks on the people's faces...then watch them laugh after they had been "scared!" There are so many different types of reactions people give...it's halirious (sp).

Let's play "Find the one-legged seagull"
Walking through the back of the park after close is really quite scary. We once walked the Railroad tracks at about 2:30 am after WWL pond cleanup. We were all scared sh-tless when some one tripped the switch for the skeleton shooting at the guy on the fence. We ran all the way to the main midway.

I felt kind of bad because as she is standing there telling me her story, we had a long line of people (it was around 10:30 - 11 a ) and MY manager was standing there helping guests, as I stood there and listened. Mind you, I am one of the front office managers, so I felt bad talking while my manager was working. ;) I tried to hurry her along to help the other guests, but I couldn't be rude. I was a little worried that my manager would have been like "hey, don't talk about ghosts with the guests" but she didn't seem to care. :)

I know that this thread has been long since abandoned about 8 years ago now, but to anyone who thinks the haunted horse story isn't true, I have a really eerie picture that I took of the supposed model of the haunted horse, taken in the museum in frontiertown. If anyone would like to see it, I'll gladly post it.
Gracie, the girl once yelled at for planking the Millennium Force sign.
I worked there in '03 at CJ's on the Frontier Trail and can tell you quite a few times well before the park was even open to guests, I always thought I'd see someone or something go by, but when I started looking around, noone or nothing was there. Everytime I went on break, I always left a sponge at the sink in the fudge station and would tell everyone that I left a sponge on that sink because i wasn't done cleaning in there and could they not move or take the sponge. Well, I'd get back from break, and the sponge would be gone. I asked everyone that I worked with if they had moved the sponge or if they had seen anyone move the sponge. No one did.

My sister worked Disaster transport in 2006, and she was stationed up at brake block one during a test run. She got a phone call from the employee at block 2. He told her a maintenance guy was entering the building where block 1 is through the doors, coming from the building where block 2 is. She waited for a while, watching the ground with her flashlight. No one came. She phoned the other employee, and he told her he definitely saw a man walking under the trough. They both agreed it had to be a ghost of sorts, as many people have said DT was haunted, even though many stories are rumors, etc.
Occam's razor always points to "being haunted."
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
DT was definitely haunted! Crazy things happened during morning trough walks and if anybody entered the projector room. One morning on brake 2 I felt a hand try to push me as I was phoning controls. The next day, I was doing my trough walk while playing my Pandora and right around brake 2, my Pandora station switched to some demonic music and sound that I don't even have saved on my playlist. It was pretty creepy, but that is one thing that made DT such a mysterious ride. Just thought I'd share my experience.

Good question, I always assumed the dormer windows on Breakers Bon Aire wing were just for show, but last July there was a light on in the dormer window closest to the lake facing Soak City at dusk. you could see it was just a bulb hanging from the ceiling....so this means the Bon Aire wing has 4 floors....what's the cost for a room up there?
