Has Jack Falfas resigned?

[url][url]Sources say that as of 06/12/10, Jack Falfas has resigned as the C.O.O of Cedar Fair.

I am not one to start rumors, but I have heard this from 2 differant people, and on facebook.

It is true.. definitely true... Not sure what is going to happen now.

Over on coasterbuzz, they mentiond that it may be because of health reasons. Again, that is just a rumor as well.

He seamed like a realy nice guy. I had spoken with him a few times, and was very friendly.

It's a public company... I suspect there's some kind of SEC requirement for announcing executive leadership changes.

Idiot sounds a bit harsh. I didn't know Jack that well but people who I respect within Cedar Fair had respect for him on some levels so that is significant to me.

Now, that isn't to say that I agree with where the company was headed under the Kinzel/Falfas regime.

I don't believe Jack was an idiot or stupid. I do believe that he had an impossible situation with his boss, and the gossip mill seems to indicate that's the reason he left.

When you lose someone of that caliber under these very unusual conditions, doesn't the Board of Directors finally have to take off the skirt, put on some pants, and get involved?

Speaking of Cedar Fair executives, did anyone know that Bill Spehn has his own "Fan Page on Facebook" ?

Wow this sounds a lot like the situation where I work. Our general manager is a total moron, absolutely impossible to work with. In the five years I have worked there we have been through seven assistant managers. You would think the board of directors would begin to question that. However when the GM is buddy buddy with most of them things get overlooked.
