I am convinced that CF will drop the "Paramount" as soon as the season ends at the respective parks. (Does Great America stay open year round?) Cedar Fair is a high class organization, composed of high-caliber folks who really care about this company. Pride in their success, in their name, dictates that the old moniker is as good as gone. In fact, I'll wager that each of the five acquired parks gets a Cedar Point-style script for its logo, just like CP, GL, et al.
And IBC Cream Soda rules.

Interesting idea, DrJekyll. The more I think of it, though, the less I think CF would go for it. Having more than one park with the Knott's brand smacks a tad bit too much of Six Flag-ism. I suspect they'll want to keep Knotts's one of a kind. But then, I'm just a newbie. :)

Okay, if you like that, here I go.
GL would become Cedar Lake
MA = Cedar Adventure
Dorney: Cedar Park
Vallyfair: Cedar Valley
WoF: Cedar Flats
Canada's Wonderland: Cedar Wonderland or Cedar Maples (look at the Canadian Flag)
PKD: Cedar Dominion
PKI: Cedar Island
PCW: Cedar Winds
And PGA: Cedar Hills (Outside of San Fran)
We could REALLY have some fun with this.
2005: CP Group Utility (Garbage Detail)
Coaster Junkie From NH
Working at MHT airport
GL would become Lake Point
MA = Adventure Point
Dorney: Park Point
Vallyfair: Valley Point (instead of cedar fair)
WoF: World of Points
Canada's Wonderland: Wonderpoint
PKD: Kings Point
PKI: Island Point
PCW: Caropoint
And PGA: Great Point!
haha...and the epic continues..
