Harbor belle..Out Of Commision:(

My wife and I tried to ride the harbor belle today. They said that it did not pass the coast guards inspection. That there was something wrong with it in the engine room. They said that they doubt it will be running this year. I am sad because that was an awesome ride. (Famous dave's BBQ is sinking. So they are selling it to a park in Japan)

I don't see what could be wrong that would take a year to fix. It passed last year, whatever the problem is should be a fairly straightforward fix for a marine mechanic.

The Harbor Belle was built by Skipperliner, which is known as a high quality boat builder of both commercial and private boats and yachts.

On an interesting side note, if you look on the Skipperliner web site, you will find a picture and floor plan of the Cuyahoga Queen under "Commercial, Paddlewheelers". The Cuyahoga Queen is one of the boats that runs on Geauga Lake, and was purchased for the park last year by Six Flags.
