Happy New Year

Yea! I am celebrating the fact that my life isn't so dull that I had to be posting online just after midnight on New Year's Eve.

Yea for interacting with real people!!! Hip-hip-hooray!

First of all, Wahoo, you know there's nothing uglier than Playa-hate.

Second of all, I don't see how 'real' mingling with people that aren't really themselves (thanks to alcohol) can be--but to each their own. And my wife and kids are real people--although Da Midget is as animated as a cartoon character.

Third of all, from March to the first good killing frost my things to do have things to do. I am all too happy to have time to sit on my hindside and ruminate.

Fourth of all, it wasn't midnight for me...it was 11:00 pm. I was watching TV while sitting at my PC (as me and the kids do in the computer room) and as the aforementioned goofy ball was dropping, I said "Hey...why not post something dumb?"

Midnight was spent where I wanted to spend it...sittin' in Da Coozie with the bubbles high, the lights low, a stack of DVDs at my side and a couple of remotes in Ziploc bags. Yea for the simple things.

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

I didn't spend my New Year's with anyone that was "liquored up". I spent mine with family as it appears many Americans did. Businesses down here in South-F-LA were boo-hooing the low turnout for the nights' festivities.

Does anyone else think it is about time for Dick Clark to call it quits? Shouldn't the entertainers on that show appeal to the older crowd that is staying home and watching on tv? Who were those people?

Drinking bubbles while sitting in bubbles sounds like a great way to have spent the evening so cheers to you 'Playa.

Finally, you don't need a ball and New Year's Eve to post something dumb on this site. People do that here ALL THE TIME!

I think that Clark will call it quits when he dies. :) Anything before that just wouldn't do. They could of course preserve his body, and have him up there on the roof with old audio drops during the whole thing...that would work.
