Happy 20th Anniversary, Pointbuzz!!!

Haven’t been on in quite a while, so I don’t know if I’m beating a dead horse, but Happy 20th anniversary, Pointbuzz!!

Pretty sure I’ve been around for most of them!

I know most of you folks think I am a Cedar Point hater, I am not, I am a coaster enthusiast who's home park is Cedar Point.

I am in an amusement park of some sort 45+ times a year 30 of which being Cedar Point. I just post and call out Cedar Point even "On Point Tony", to try to make it a more enjoyable place for all.

If you are going to say you are going to do something, then at least try to do it. Is that too much to ask?

Wishing Cedar Point another 150 years and Point Buzz another 20 years.

Wow, I totally forgot that this was coming up. 20 years is a long time to do anything. In the first few years, there were quite a few CP sites popping up, including Virtual Midway (which merged with Guide to The Point to make this site). So many others have come and gone, and now there are a bunch of Facebook pages that take no effort to create. Glad we've persisted, even if our level of effort comes in waves. Here's to 20 more!

Wait... the site actually opened May 28, 1998, so we're well beyond 21 years at this point. The site is old enough to drink.

There have been times over the past 21 years when reading comments on this site necessitated a drink...or two.

I've been here for quite a bit of it, but I wish I could have met up with Pete.

I bet the Lemon Chill guy has grand kids by now!

Keep the site going Jeff. Good luck Cedar Point and Point buzz, hopefully the next 20 years will be as fruitful.

The site was around before it had a forum, and initially it had a commercially available forum called UBB before I wrote my own.
