I live in Rhode Island and visit the park every summer while visiting my cousins in Milan. I usually spend 4-5 days out of the week there to make it worth while.
Im just wondering if the 12 hour drive from Rhode Island is worth it for Halloweekends.
Yes it is most definitely worth it. Here is a helpful tip.
If possible, try to go to Cedar Point on a Friday Night. The park is open from 6pm-midnight.
That is plenty of time to ride all of the big rides and go through all of the haunts.
The park us always packed on Saturdays. Sometimes it is even more packed on a Halloweekends Saturday than it is on a summer Saturday.
I JUST moved to Rhode Island after having lived near the park for years. This will be this will be the first year I haven't worked as a screamster and you better believe if I have the free weekend I'll be making the trip. It's worth the 12-13 hour drive each way even if I only get to see it for one night.
