I know Fear Faire, Fright Zone, CarnEvil and Werewolf Canyon are closed on Sundays.

How come October 7th is the only exception?

October 8 is Columbus Day. Since many people have a three-day weekend, the park is open until 10 p.m. on Sunday.

And most colleges have "fall break" that following Monday and Tuesday, so most employees are able to stay later and not have to get back to school.
