Halloweekends Midway Music

I was wondering if anyone could post the music titles on the Midway Music loop.

Im specifically trying to figure out what a certain song is. Sorry I can't describe it that well, it sounds like a woman singing but I cant make out the words, if they are indeed words. Its very eerie, Enigma sounding music. It came before "Boogie Oogie Oogie" tonight when we were leaving the park at closing.

I dont know if the songs are played random or in a loop, so I hope you can help me figure this piece out.

Thanks.

I don't know but they weren't playing "Halloweekends Music" this Sunday. I was listening to Kung Fu Fighting. It's almost like unless it's Saturday, it's just barely "Halloweends".

I think it depends on where in the park you are. There was some Halloween music all around. It seemed that near frontier trail had the most. The music does make the mood. They added alot of great stuff, but it is hard to get in the Halloween mood with Kung Fu Fighting... I think the music they played a couple of years ago was the best....

Get with it or die in the process.....

The midway music that is being played now is different from the midway music that has been playing all season. Kung Fu Fighting wasn't on the playlist at all this season until Halloweekends. Half of the midway music now dosen't even sound Halloweenish. I hate how the speakers for the midway music that use to be by the construction area are now in Corkscrew's lawn right next to the station. It wouldn't be so bad if the music didn't suck.

I noticed how the there seemed to be a centralized location of music coming from the corkscrew station. It kind of annoyed me when I walked past it. I would hate to be there all day. A lot different from the lack of music in the Gemini area. That made for some really boring days this summer. As annoy as the music can be to listen to over and over, at least some sound is more helpful then none. It seemed to me the music was central around the Gemini Childrens Area..

We went Friday and Saturday, both Halloweekends days and they played Freak Out, Boogie Oogie Oogie, Boogie Man, and Kung Fu Fighting that I recall.

I guess they are going for a more novelty type theme. The song that best fit the atmosphere and made it creepy is what I was looking for. We heard it from the MF to the main Midway.

And...what song was that?

There's also a fake version of Michael Jackson's Thriller. You'd think they could atleast get Michael Jackson's version.

Raptor323, thats what I was trying to figure out from my first post. I have no idea what the song is, but once you hear it at the park, you'll know which one I am referring to.

I know in years past they have played:

1. "Warewolves of London" by Warren Zevon

2. "Witchy Woman" by the Eagles

3. The theme from the "Exorcist"

4. "Ghostbuster's" by Ray Parker Jr.

5. "Flying Purple People Eater"

6. "Monster Mash"

7. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson

8. "Rock Lobster" by The B-52's

I not sure if they are playing any of these this year, but I remeber them from last year.

+ Kung Fu Fighting. :-)

I'm sure I can get you the playlist for this year if you want. I'll swing by the Live E office.

"so you're telling me I can't play Jesus Loves Me for my solo?"

Thanks Eric, I would appreciate that very much!

The one "song" that used to creep me out was the theme from "Halloween."
They also play "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" which really has no relation to Halloween with the distant exception of the Devil
