HalloWeekends info needed

Hi everyone! Just got back from CP last week and it seems a shame to let these Season Passes only get used for three days. Since airfare is dropping and car rentals are cheap, we are thinking about coming back one more time the second of October. I have never been to the HalloWeekends before and have a few questions:

1. I saw that there is limited rides operating on Fridays. Are all rides operating on Saturday and Sunday?

2. What's the weather like that time of year? Will I need shorts, long pants, jackets, etc?

3. How are the crowds?

2. It varies greatly. From very warm to ... well, I wore my heavy winter coat one day last year. The later in the season, the colder it gets (brilliant observation on my part)

3. See answer to #2. Friday nights are usually very quiet. Weekends tend to be busier than you might expect, with some days that rival a Saturday in July. It also seems to me that HalloWeekends crowds are more affected by weather than regular season crowds.
