Halloweekends changes

Although its still 2 months away, its my favorite time to be at cp. Earlier this year (May 8th) I read an article in the pointbuzz news section that said Hildebrandt still thought that Halloweekends could be expanded and made better. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas that would make these awesome weekends any better?

One thing I noticed after looking at the Halloweekends section on cedarpoint.com was that the haunted houses will not open until 3 on both Saturday and Sunday. On my old 2004 Fright Guide, the houses used to open up at noon on Saturday and Sunday. In my opinion this is a negative and won't make the weekends better, lol. An actually its kind of upsetting, I always enjoyed going into the houses, especially in the afternoon on Sundays when at times the lines were not as long. However, with the shorter time that they will now be open, the lines will prolly prove to be even longer since people won't have as much time to get in them.

I'm no expert on HalloWeekends, but maybe you can find your answers here.

Hooray for another animated CP banner!

The haunted houses are almost entirely staffed by ride prides, and as far as I know, ride pride groups are working at the park all day long, so I'm not sure why they'd be opening the houses later. I'd be 100% in favor of anything that would make my Fright Zone bigger and better! :-)

Wow my picture made it onto CP's website again i'm under CarnEvil with the screwdriver through my head & the blue face.

I think that the fright zones and haunted houses can use fix ups. If anyone visits a normal community haunted house set up for October, such as the Haunted Hydro or the one at Lucas County fair grounds, they should notice the fear factor is much more intense. Although cp is a family park, the current haunted houses all recommmend children be left outside due to the intensity. They should have one be super haunted or something like that. Universal Studios halloween houses are absolutely crazy, every fine detail is incorparated for a super intense experience. This is what cp needs. While other places haunted houses are freaky crazy, cp are merely "okay."

Hopefully this year they'll get a few updated Fright Zone pictures up on the website. Everything up there now has got to be 3 or 4 years old. Then again, I guess I am biased.... Just want to see myself on the website. :)
