I am so excited about the news of 'Fright Lanes' coming to the park for Halloweekends! That seems like it will be a wonderful addition!
There have been other grumblings about new features that will be added to make the Halloweekend experience even better... what do you think these will be? What do you HOPE to see?
It's fast lane just for Halloween.

Considering how long the lines have been for the haunted houses at Cedar Point, I think this is well overdue.
IF you think CP's lines are long during halloween, check out Kings Island.

^ That's good to know! I drive past KI on my way up to CP from Nashville every year. I was thinking that it may be fun to leave a night early and try out KI's halloween events... but if the lines are really bad, I may reconsider.

Or Universal's...
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
So... what would you like to see added to the Halloweekend lineup?
I am always very pleased with the ways that CP is expanding the Hallweekend event... but where do they go from here?
Personally, I think it would be really cool if they somehow incorporated halloween into the rides. I don't know how it would look or what would be done, but there could be some possibilities there.
Or maybe a haunted-themed dark ride?
Something as simple as playing "Halloween" type music throughout the entire park and Hotel Breakers area would be nice. The mood just isn't set walking around the park and hearing the Bee Gees.

I agree...
There are a bunch of places throughout the park that play Halloween music, but it seems inconsistent.
I thought it would be really cool to use the DJ cages in the queue lines for something. Maybe a ghoul dressed up and playing halloween music... it seems like there could be some entertainment value there.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker
I never understood why they don't have the queue music going through HalloWeekends at the major coasters... besides the fact that they seem to disperse the queue speakers for use on various HW attractions? Lines are longer during HalloWeekends than they are in the middle of summer - and seem even longer in silence.
The music in the park during Halloweekends is my only issue with the event. The haunted houses have improved drastically, the outdoor zones have expanded and are great, the parade is good, but they need mood setting music! I loved walking through the park and hearing the Halloween theme song at night. I haven't heard it in at least two years. Maybe with the technology improvements we're seeing in the park, an audio system that runs through the entire park will be in the park's future.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Just wondering, xfireboyx, where did you find out about fright lanes already? Great heads up.
