Wow... yes ...SOME people plan to ONLY go on Halloweekends! They have the whole park made up to fit Halloween. Personally, I don't like the holiday very much...but if you're into that sort of thing you will love it!
They put on different skits in different areas of the park. There are about 3 different haunted houses. Many "creatures" are walking about the park at night. There are decorations everywhere..the whole place is pretty "spooky." It's a great time to go and look as crazy as you want to...if you don't want to look crazy any other time you go. Let's put it this way...if you DO go.... paint your face, spray your hair blue... wear some crazy clothes... no one will make fun of you... you will fit in just fine! You can also buy a "joker" hat to wear...little bells on the end of the hat n' all!!! ::smile:: I'd recommend it...crowds are A LOT less too...because the kids are in school! ::smile:: Do it, man....go for it!!!!
Halloweekends is a great time to go to the park! The atmosphere alone makes it fun. It is cool to see the park all decorated and in the spirit of halloween. The park does a great job.
The crowds vary but arent that bad. The Haunted Houses usually have the longest lines.
I enjoy being at the park since it takes on a different "personality".
Definitely worth the trip.
We did Halloweekends last year. It was a BLAST!
My friend Emily learned that if you attempt to befriend a Ghoul in order to keep it from scaring you, said Ghoul's friend will sneak up and chase you screaming all the way through Frontier Trail. The memory is PRICELESS!
Our U2 Rollercoaster Fanatic Group is returning to CP for our 2nd CoasterCon this year during Halloweekends. I wouldn't miss it for anything.
