halloweekends @ the Breakers

Please post any info on Hotel Breakers Decor for Halloweekends. Are rooms decorated, Hotel lobby, hallways, etc.?

Are the outdoor swimming pools open? Heated?

Basically, I am asking what can be expected by staying at Breakers on a Friday and Saturday night during Halloweekends.

The hotel is decorated pretty nicely with Halloween stuff, but not the rooms except for a few of the suites. I don't believe that the outdoor pool is open, but I could be wrong. You'll have a blast, especially Friday night when the park is usually pretty dead.

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

Friday nights are the best for sure when it comes to getting in max coaster time. I have noticed a guy that brings his own stuff and decorates the top floor room of the tower he's in. Its usually visable by the strobe light. Noticed it 2 years ago and again last year and met the guy once. He's a college guy.

The hallways, lobby, and rotunda are usually decorated rather nicely. I have never noticed any decorations in the rooms though. I have seen people in the outdoor pools, but I have no idea if they are heated.

We noticed the strobe light this past weekend in the top tower room. At first we thought it might have been the fire alarm until someone pointed out that none of the other rooms had the lights going off too.

Ride on, MrScott!

Certain suites are decorated. To me it's the best place to stay out of all the hotels. I have been going since nearly 7 straight years and I've had to get a bigger room due to my party growing and finally we have to get rooms for others. The pools are all open including the outside pools. I've stayed at the Pumpkin Patch suite which is really nice. The room above TGIF is the biggest of the pumpkin patch suite but that is due to no screened porch.
