Halloweekends: See it or Skip it?

I KNOW many dread this time of year as the end of the coaster riding season is fast coming to an end.

I will be making the 6 hour trip to CP this fall (Oct 10 weekend) for my first ever visit for Halloweekends, and I need some help.

IF YOU have been to past Halloweekends, please respond to this. I have already heard from those that have heard, from there cousin that it was great. I would like first hand accounts here.

SEE IT? Which or What?

SKIP IT? Which or What?

Please leave rides outta this, I know them and will ride my finial Coaster for '03 at The Point.

Thanks in advance for your replies

See it: Aaron Radatz, Fright Zone, Tale of Terror, Werewolf Canyon (I assume that will be very cool)

Skip it: Nothing really stands out

There are others I probably would put under "see it," but this is what came to mind first.

I'd see the haunted house (can't remember the name) over in Frontier Town by the swings (can't remember that name either).

The highlight of that haunted house would be the spinning tunnel. It's not very hard to walk through, but it's really fun to watch the people in front of you try to get through it.

The one in the back is Undertaker U. The spinning room is fun, but I also like that really loud air cannon thing towards the end, it gets me every time.

I wouldn't really consider anything about it bad enough to not check out, except the little kids things of course. My favorite thing about Holloweekends, besides the short lines, is the Fright Zone, but it may be rivaled by Werewolf Canyon this year.

The first thing I thought of and can't wait to see is the "Tell Tale Heart" show in the glass-blowing theater. A must see.

Noon to midnight on Saturdays is correct.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

2 years ago when i went to Halloweekends, i wasnt overly impressed with The Fright Zone. i wasnt wowed by it because there was just too many people in the place! it wasnt scary at all, because it was too crowded...
i have yet to see either of the magic shows, and plan to this year, and everyone should hit "The Toxic Tunnel of Terror" and "Pharoh's Secret". once more, not impressed by "Undertaker U.", as there was another crowd control problem with that as well...
