Halloweekends! 9-25-2004

I'll be going to Cedar Point on 9-25 and this will be my frist Halloweekend so I'm really excited. I just wanted to know if anyone thinks the park will be busy? I owned a season pass during the 94 and 95, 98 season and had CP down to a science as far as the crowds, wait times, what to ride first, last, ext. but I'm alittle rusty on it now. I don't really know what to expect. The park will be opened 12 hrs that day so there will be plently of ride time. Does anyone have any feedback on the crowds last year during Halloweekends in September?

September 25, good day to go. I know it's Halloweekends, but crowds start to die down after Labor Day. You'll probably see a good crowd though.

September, and to a lesser degree October, are hard to judge crowds for becuase noone knows what the weather will be like. If its really nice out (like it was one Saturday last year) crowds can approach June/July levels. If its so cold the hotties keep poking your eyes out then you can get walk-ons on just about every ride. Either way, there's no way to tell until you wake up and get there that day. Personally, I'm hoping for cooler weather, I'd rather not have to deal with huge crowds.

I'm hoping theres not a crowd at CoasterMania this year.

There usually is and I'd be surprised if there wasn't this year...
