Hello-
I haven't been to Halloweekends in years and I suspect the event has changed some.
We are thinking of taking our kids on a Sunday, since we are staying at Kalahari the day before and will be in the area.
Our kids are younger and would be too scared of the haunted houses and fright zones. Is it possible to avoid these areas or is it pretty much one of those deals where you cannot get from point A to point B without going through one? Also, are the fright zones going on during the day or only at night?
My son has autism, and he gets very anxious in environments where there are loud sudden noises and people jumping out at him. We went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this summer and he did great, so I know he'd love the rides, but I'm not sure he'd do very well if we can't avoid the screamsters. I'm thinking maybe we'd be ok until dark and then need to leave?
Thanks in advance- the information on the cedar point website is kind of thin, so I don't know what to expect and that makes it hard for me to determine if this is an event my son can handle or not.
The scare zones are only open on Friday and Saturday nights.

^^^true. Since the park is only open until 8pm Sunday and not dark enough for open screamster areas. The enclosed/building areas will be open but those are easy enough to NOT go into. Have fun and enjoy !!!
