GTTP PKI
I don't know if anyone would be up for this, but PKI is opening weekends in just over a week. How would people feel about a GTTP get-together at PKI to get "warmed up" for the upcoming season? Just a thought...post your thoughts.

Try going over to CoasterBuzz and check the meeting calendar.....someone may have already set up a get together.
hothitz, I'm planning on being there opening day as well. If I have my GTTP shirt in time, I'll be wearing that. Don't know if I'll get it in time, though.

If you want to meet, Ill be there early to get the ace first ride thingy. I guess we meet at the ace plaque when the park first opens.
I'll be there all weekend.

I just found out that I'll be visiting openning day with my dad. The problem is neither of us have ever been to PKI or a park on the first day. Any tips, suggestions, things I should know, or whatever else would be VERY appreciated.
I'll be there in my blue Hypersonic XLC shirt. I still haven't decided if both days or not.
I would really like to meet some of you guys.

Well, one place I think is a great place to meet would be the food area in the Action Zone (Stunt Crew Grill, maybe. Can't remember). Decent food, beer, and great scenery. Maybe around 12:30 or so? Just a thought. Any other ideas are welcome.

Hey ucsigep, I am alowed to bring a few guests with me. If you would like to join me you can. Also, does anyone know what time the gates open?
Gates open at nine, and I'll have one person with me. I do know that Season Pass holders can ride anything in the Action Zone at nine, but I don't know if my friend will be able to go with me, he doesn't have a season pass. I will be there right around 9:00. If my GTTP shirt comes in today, I'll wear that, otherwise I'll be wearing a yellow tee from a Mardi Gras party we had at school last year.

Thanks to getting free tiks I am pretty sure the kids and I will be at PKI this Saturday the 21st. There is a barrel contest in Lima that day that I may have to end up competing in, IF the horse qualifies, I know the horse...she wont qualify, but that would be the only thing (and this weather-what is up with that? Im looking at SNOW)
that would keep us from going. Kids and I will get there early (8:30 or so) head for SOB as soon as gates open and generally stay till closing. Dont look for my truck, NO WAY I'm taking it to PKI, any of yous who know my truck know why!! :)
I will be sporting one of my Piazza jerseys or one of my ga-zillion Raptor shirts. Only a 1.25 hour drive...wow that'll be a switch! Vortex AINT no Raptor, but at least my daughter and I will get our coaster fix. Hope to see some of you there! :)
