GTTP @ 6:30 am

I was wondering if maybe the GTTP server is down in the morning around 6:30 eastern because everytime i attempt to check it out in the morning i get a server not found error. Has anyone else experience this?

Why does everyone presume it to be a server problem and not their own ISP or some other Internet phenomenon?

I logged on this morning, and I check me e-mail and such, but GTTP didn't work, so I don't think it my ISP or internet...

I doesnt work for me either at school.

It was down this morning for me, too. All the other sites on the web worked.

Well sorry for asking, but I just wondered why it didn't work because the rest of my internet did I just couldn't get on GTTP or coasterbuzz. Sheesh

Sometimes that just happens. If it is only guidetothepoint and coasterbuzz that is down, that makes some sense.

Yeah, It just happens sometimes! Like right now my Buddy List isn't showing up and won't let me bring it up. If I come back later it will work. Stuff like this happens sometimes...

I've noticed this alot myself.  For some reason, from 5:00 am to 7:00 access to this board is spotty at best.  Mind you, it doesn't seem to be all days, but enough for me to assume it was down for regular maintenance.  Usually after 7:00, the problem went away.

My unemployed butt is sleeping then. Besides, sites that are taken down for "maintenance" aren't very good sites. It's not like you have to change the oil. ;)

You mean they dont need oil changed?  Next you are gonna tell me my CPU fan doesnt need an air filter! ;)

remember to check the antifreeze, it's getting cold out there! :)

From about 8pm till now I also have been unable to access either CB or GTTP (this may explain why the last post here was around 6:30 PM) .I Instant Messaged 3 others with different ISP's than mine and they were unable to access them also.

I had the same problem, Joe E. But once again I just assumed it was AOL.

And I'm waiting for gas prices to drop before I fill up my RAM. *chuckle*

Wow, that was brilliant. No, I don't miss the days where I could just blow off a couple hundred dollars on a party (I throw fun parties) or a spontaneous trip to wherever. That kind of lifestyle isn't any fun.

Yes, there was a server crash today. I'm having problems with the search indexing that makes the forum searching lightning fast. I turned off the indexing, so it should be OK until I figure out what the dilly is yo.
