Speaking of things like statues...Yesterday I walked up to the fence to take shot shots of Disaster demo and right by the fence I saw a giraffe???Any clues to where it is from?
It's from carnevil they usually have 2 clowns sitting on top of it and the giraffes eyes light up red.
Hi all, sorry to be late to the thread but I thought this might still be of interest. Some time ago I was reading a site about the history of Morley's Dog, a legendary statue recovered after the Johnstown Flood, and the site included a link to the J. W. Fiske Iron Works catalog that had that particular dog statue as one of its stock items. As I paged through it, I ran across an extremely familiar sight -- the Cedar Point griffin. See for yourself:

I don't know the provenance of CP's statue, but it was clearly the same design, at the very least, as the Fiske statue. The catalog above dates from around the 1880s.
I wonder if cedar point will get something like the wild eagle sculpture. That would be awesome!!!

The Crystal Method is the only way to find The Winner!
The Wild Eagle sculpture cost $250k. Don't hold your breath.
