Great ride

I was really surprised at how fun this ride is. I've been on vertical velocity at SFGA, but I have to say Wicked Twister is a much better ride. The two twisted spikes give the ride a very unique experience. Great addition to CP.

I think Wicked Twister should get more credit than it does. Look at the faces of the riders exiting the station. They look like they had a good time to me. The ride is smooth, fast, tall, and scary. All that equals the perfect coaster. The back seat gives a very intense ride on the back spike, the front gives rider the a feeling like they're never going to stop on the front spike, and the middle gives a great foot chopping affect. Any where you sit on WT is great.

When I ask people what their favorite rides are they always say TTD, MF, Raptor, Magnum, and Mantis. Everyone forgets about those giant 215 foot twisted spikes coming out of the beach. As you can see I think Wicked Twister is the greatest ride ever therefore I agree with you Katy Brennan.

One of my favorites. I put it in the same league with MF, TTD, Raptor and Magnum.

I love that ride. I think the back seat is great being suspended up there for a couple of seconds is great.

TTD was built too soon after WT. WT is one of my top 20, though. It's the best Intamin Impulse I've ridden.

Friday, September 18th, 2003 at 10:10 PM. It finally happened. Rollback on Dragster in the front seat of the gold train!

I adore Wicked Twister; it's my favorite at the park. I do think that the impulse at SFWoA is a bit better due to the holding brake, but Wicked Twister has a great view and is just plain fun. No, it's not the highest or fastest in the park (for that matter, it doesn't have the longest lines either), but it makes me laugh and have a great time, and that's what matters.
