I have a great idea for the BOARDWALK project if CP ever does it! A Bistro, with outdoor seating right on the beach! Probably where Oceana is now, somewhere over there! Think about it after a long day at the point right when it cools down sitting outside right at the beach, eating a turkey club, or a reuben! Watching the waves come in and out. If CP was smart they would put trees in for shade during midday it could get hot!! For patrons in the Breakers who want to eat but not pay admission there could be two levels one up high for guests in the park and one down low for the hotel guests.(Being low enough as to not block a view of the beach for the in park crowd!) At night there could even be some light music and lights! For those of you who think no one would be willing to go there because of the need to keep riding coasters I think you are wrong! Thats what I thought when the Toledo Zoo put one in,(IE:need to see more animals) but it is a huge success! It's ranked #4 in Toledo's bests outdoor restaurants! So what do you think? I think it would be a great addition to the boardwalk if CP does it!!!

But.... you can't eat outside at Friday's!!!
And Fiday's is more of a bar.
This could be more family oriented than a bar!

Really?
So why do they have all those tables outside then?

Now, let's be reasonable, the idea does have merit. *Grin* All of the restaurants (ie, not the stand-in-line-grab-your-food-get-out-of-the-way places) in the park are indoors (to my knowledge), with the exception of the Silver Dollar Cafe on REALLY busy days. It would be nice to have a good restaurant, in the park for those guests not staying in the hotels that don't want to leave the park, where you could eat outside, and I really like the idea of being able to watch the waves -- a romantic interlude away from a busy midway! Who knows what the infamous boardwalk will have, after all!

Finally someone who sees what I am trying to get at! I was just wondering what other people think!!! The reason I came up w/ the idea is because there really isn't any sitdown outside restaurants at CP!!!!!!!

Maybe a nightclub that also sells some food would be nice. It could be themed as a tropical beach club. The resorts need some nightlife with entertainment. TGI Friday's is ok at night, if you just want to drink at the bar. Some entertainment at night would be a welcome addition for many resort guests I'm sure.
