Great Bear Lodge ???

Has anyone been to the new Great Bear Lodge in Sandusky? It looks pretty sweet! 30,000+ square feet of indoor water park, outdoor water park, a 1 million dollar water slide tree fort, and an arcade all inside a giant log cabin!!! I wish I could go!

We went last week for a night. It wasn't too bad - very much focused towards the family, though. The water park consisted of 3,000 screaming kids and 7 adults. But the rooms are awesome (at least the one we had), the game room is very cool and the restaurants looked good. Had we paid, I would have said it wasn't worth it without having a couple of kids. With a family, though, it's a great time.

The room we stayed in, the Jacuzzi Fireplace Suite, runs $199 - $289 depending on the season. Other rooms range $159 - $339. But, just like Cedar Point, there are deals to be had. It's definitely a destination place and not just a place to spend the night.

Thanks for the input, Gemini - I was thinking about it for my husband and I (no kids), but knowing that I think I'll just stick to Soak City! :)
