Great Adventure rides?

I was watching Americas's Greatest Roller Coaster Thrills, The Next Generation, when I noticed something. They said that Six Flags Great Adventure, has the most rides in one park, 74. I was pretty sure that Cedar Point had the most rides, 68. Is this true? Does anyone know who's mistake this is, Six Flags, Cedar point, or the video?
CP does have to most rides, that is true. I don't know if the video counted maybe shows, stores or stuff like that. That is most likly the reason though.

*Dude, Where's my car?*
Here, on the west coast we get commercials for SFGAd, (for some strange reason) and it says that it has the most rides too? MAybe they count their water park rides into the count??
I live in pa and I was looking at this advertisement for a bus line that was going to ga and it said it was the worlds largest theme park.
I'm just surprised that everyone hasn't picked up that CP has the most "Complete" coasters at any park with 14! Although I don't count S:UE or S:the Escape a coaster! To me they are Free-fall rides! As for most rides it is to my knoweledge that Cp is in the record book with 68. Although it is all advertisement just like Mantis having 4-inversions:-)

I think they claim it to be the world's latgest theme park because of the animal sanctuary.
I haven't been there and I don't know firsthand what's there, but this might be a way for them to have a higher count: do they have a waterpark section that is included in the general admission price? If CP were to include Soak City in the admission (not a special ticket, in every one), then it would make sense for them to count the waterslides and such as rides as well.

Just an idea!

Six Flags is famous for "fuzzy math." They also claim that Wyandot Lake contains over 60 attractions. I haven't counted more then 40 or so and that is being generous (counting almost everything but the water fountains). I've heard that Morey's Piers is pretty high on the ride count as well.
C-mon. Everybody goes to amusement parks to see fountins. ;)

I don't mean decorative fountains! :) *** This post was edited by Joe on 1/26/2001. ***
I think Great Adventures counts just about everything. Shops, shows, etc.
