Grass under Maverick now...

Anyone else notice there is now grass under Maverick?

does anyone else care if there is grass under maverick now? im too distracted by the ride to notice if there is grass underneath me. lol

I noticed. It looked kind of rough last year with the weeds and random growth. The grass is an improvement.

all i know is maverick is awesome and grass or weeds the coaster is amazing

I think sentences are easier to read when there are periods at the end of a thought because runon sentences are hard to read and when there are to capitals or other punctuation marks is hard to follow the thought that you are trying to express.

That also includes using correct grammar and english skills. "Two" and "to" are not the same thing. "Is" and "are" are also two different things.

^^ I am so confused. Where are the periods, the commas? It is a grammar teachers nightmare. :)

The area around Maverick is going to look great after the trees and stuff grow in. Now if they put all the theming in that was on the animation video then it would be perfect.

that would be amazing to look at while waiting in line but while on the ride i wont even notice it

I think that the addition of grass really brings the theming of the ride together......

No don't you guys think they should make it like an abandoned ghost town below Maverick?

That wouldn't be too expensive and I think people might go oh cool look at that for the tenth of a second they have to look at it.

I've always thought it would be great to allow wild horses to roam free around the ride area...

I really enjoyed Scream! at Six Flags Magic Mountain (a floorless coaster) and I never though about what was underneath. A year or so later I read that it was built on a parking lot and I was shocked! I had no idea, and I had been on the ride! Typical Six Flags for you. ;)

I didn't notice that there was a lack of grass under Maverick when I rode it last year. I thought it was supposed to look kind of "rugged" in the ride area.

Grass under Maverick? I knew Cedar Fair was hurting for profits, but I didn't think it had descended to the point of illicit agriculture to shore up the bottom line . . .

Riding Judy K back to Maverick yesterday, I did reflect how nice the landscaping looks. There's one area where the wooden fence drops away behind Maverick, exposing a grassy area under the supports with lots of pretty plantings. Very nice.
