got a launch in today! (6-20)

ok, quick trip report: got to the park today and they were handing out slips saying TTD would not be open. so we get in the park and ride Milly first. Then over to PT for a launch and drop.we had been watching them test TTD for like 30 min. so after we got off PT i noticed they were taking off the water dummies. we got in the small line quick. after 20 more min they let us in the queue lines. in all we waited about 30 min total to ride. (not bad for a ride that wasnt going to be open today)

i asked 2 people working TTD about the tires and theming being removed and both gave me the same answer: weight and weight. i will have to admit the trains look like hell now, BUT they were launching VERY fast and there was never a train close to rolling back. matter of fact i launch registered 128mph. people in the station were going nuts. i thought that train was gonna fly off the tophat. anyway, when i got home i noticed the queue lines empty, so i guess it broke again. glad it was after i left :) it brings my grand total to 5 launches on TTD and it seems like every one is better then the time before. what a great ride. i cant wait till its running on a regular basis.

btw, we left at like 4pm because the lines were getting CRAZY. when there is a 30+ min wait for Blue Streak its time to pack it in for the day :)

Why do people feel they need to start a new topic every time they manage to get a launch? Isn't there a section for trip reports? I'm sure they get excited about it, but come on. I'm not trying to flame anyone, I'm just curious.

Because getting a launch on this piece of crap is a rarity these days!

Just got home, figured I would add to the topic since I ALMOST got a ride. We were 3 from getting into the train and it rolled back about 8 o clock, and was down the rest of the night. Got 2 passes though, one for any ride but Dragster and one just for Dragster.

That's the perfect way to get front of the line passes and possibly make a little money! Just get in line for TTD, whether you want to ride it or not. Most likely the piece of crap will break down before you even get a chance to ride. So you will be given the 2 passes. If you never wanted to ride TTD in the first place and only got in line for the passes, you can sell your TTD pass for a few bucks. Then just use the other one for some ride that is actually running.

No really, Shut it TTD sucks. All you're doing is making a big fool of yourself. Nobody cares what you think You got some problems with TTD, Go somewhere else...Nobody wants to hear you complain about it here. Its a new ride, It will have its downtime.

I agree that all the complants are getting very,very old. Yes it's a new ride and yes you should expect that the ride will be down alot for the first few months. I wish that I had this problem that I lived that close to the best park in the world and all i had to do is complain that a ride wasn't working. I live in the suburbs of Chicago and I have to put up with a Six Flags that has to ask for permission to put up a ride from the town that it is in and it cann't build a ride higher then 175 feet!!!!!! So please stop all the wineing. Thanks

Attn: ttd sucks ...you need to realize your surroundings ,this is CP place ,not a six flags forum where you bash cp and it's rides . Try thier forums they will be glad to hear your complaints and critisism .We stand behind CP and thier ways to deal with a new ride and mechanical issues .
