Google Maps and Earth have both been updated with a view of the park in 2006.

I thought that was easy enough to search.

The one reason I don't like Google Earth, it doesn't have up to date views of the area. I have to open up Firefox every time I want to see CP from the sky, because for some odd reason, Windows Live Maps doesn't work in Safari...
Although, I found my car parked at IWU since they did the Street View in Marion for Google Maps. Thought that was rather cool.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
It looks like they used a lower resolution than the previous images on google maps. I could have sworn I could zoom in at least one step closer.
Goodbye MrScott

Based on the parking lot it looks like a fairly busy day. My assumption is it's a weekend early in the season. Soak City doesn't appear to be open, and that parking lot looks typical of a May Saturday.

That really is a horrible resolution over CP. When I look at my house and work the picture is great. I just can't figure out when the image was taken because my car isn't home, but my mom's is and the parking lot at work is completely empty, which rarely happens.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
But says who your home and work pictures were taken on the same day or at the same time? They probably weren't. The satellites don't photograph everything at once.
the pic might have been Halloweekends...and soak city parking lot Does have some cars in it...but Halloweekends we even had people parking back there, from what I heard...I got there early in the morning and didn't leave till the lot was empty...which was late...so I didn't always see the full busyness as it was in the parking lot...I saw its full extent in the park and lines still coming in at 8 pm...we were crazy busy most of the Halloweekend Saturdays...even Sundays were crazy...for them being Sundays. Cedar Point had really good weather all through Halloweekends with maybe one bad weekend???...
If you check out youtube and search... lines or parking lots for Cedar Point Halloweekends 2007 you'll see the extent of our busyness. (I'd give you the address but youtube doesn't work very well on dial up)...they're quite funny, especially if you were there and looking back on them. One night I got off "early" (two hours before parked closed)...that night it wasn't funny, but looking back on it I laugh. :-D
