Good times to go/good travel plans?

We're heading to Geauga Lake on August 23rd.

We'll be leaving Toronto at 7am [hopefully], and hope to arrive around 1pm to get tickets.

What do you Geauga goers think the line times will be [from your experience], and what would be the best plan of attack for a 7 hour trip to the park [barring all breakage + rain]?

Thanks.

So far this year the crowds have been on the lite side. And since your going on a Monday, the crowds should be very low. The longest you might wait is at the most 30 minutes to an hour for X-Flight, depending on the crew and the number of trains running. Everything else should be a walk-on to 15 minutes.

If it's hot and dry, you can expect a good chunk of the crowd to be hanging out in the waterpark.

7 hours in the park should be plenny of time to see and do everything at the park, unless you plan to spend alot of time in the waterpark.

BTW, the waterpark is including with the addmission price, and it is a good waterpark. But not sure if your into that kind of thing.

Anyway, enjoy your trip!

I was just there this past Saturday and the line waits for us were really short except for the Pepsi Plunge and Grizzly Run. The waterpark looked packed so I'm not sure if that was bad or not. All the coasters were easy to get onto, I rode the Dominator 3 times and every time I got on almost as soon as I got there.
Yes as long as you are at Geauga Lake on a week day you are fine. I've had walkons so far this season and it's July now which is unheard of. You'll be fine on a Monday.
Thanks a lot guys, this makes my anticipation for the trip even greater. :D
How much is it for admission to GL? I was thinking about going there, but not sure if it's worth it to skip CP. Yet, if there's waterpark admission included, I might just check the place out.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Geauga is $35.

But there is a coupon on their website that will save you $8 off of admission.
