Going up up and inplace!
Today at 3:00 the first track was lifted up in to the air and by 3:10 it was placed on the supports. Check it out @ http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/webcams/index.cfm

If you're talking about the piece on the right hand side, it looks like they're still working on it. Glad to see they've started putting track on though.

Am I the only one when viewing the webcam at every time it refreshes nothing happens.

Hey - we should start a new thread for each piece of track that gets put into place. That way, it will be easier to keep track of what's going on, since there is soooo much to discuss.

From what I can tell, the pic is updating. The pic does get darker and brighter from the cloud cover over the area.
Really, once a piece is up in place, not much happens while the workers scramble and install the bolts. The crane is locked in place, and at this distance (and lighting) you won't be able to see much movement.
