Going to Michigan's Adventure Today!

I haven't been there since last year and will be looking for Cedar Fair's improvements. What will I find? We shall see.

I'm going to try to go there next month. I've never been there and want to ride Shivering Timbers.

Just because you can't justify charging $3 for a Pepsi doesn't mean you can't charge $3 for a Pepsi.

The Shivering Timbers is one of the best rides I have ever been on. I would tell anyone who has the chance to ride it to go.

DOH! A Pointer in my home town, in my homepark, and I'm not even there :(.

I would be there (Sundays are the good Timbers crew days), however I'm in Illinois...but that is beside the point. Hope you have fun!

The park was beautiful! Lots of landscaping improvements (including something I've never seen before--black bark). ST was in fine form (walk on's early in the day). The airtime was awesome!

Man, was it HOT! Good thing we brought the swimsuits, spent most of the afternoon in the waterpark floating on inner tubes. My sunburn is talking to me right now...

Kara: MA is my home park, too. I grew up in Fruitport, lived in Muskegon, and now live in Holland. It's only an hour drive and I bought a season pass ($90), which I'll be using again at MA and at CP later this summer.

MA is my home park too. It is beginning to look like a mini Cedar Point. The new concessions look world class. Anything that CP has done to it this year has that CP "classiness" to it. I think that is probably the biggest difference from last year. I also noticed that many of the managers have been spending time teaching the games employees how to "bark". More of the atmosphere to make a successful amusement park. It will never be a CP but at least CP is making changes that make it feel like a mini Cedar Point. Did anyone notice throughout the park there is a lot of grey conduit? LIGHTS!!! Timbers is awesome in the dark!!

OK...now back to our regularly scheduled program....Cedar Point....

Any word on if there planing a new ride?

You're going to be there as well, Spartan? I'm going to head out there that day for a little bit...I'll show you guys how to ride Timbers ;).

Glad ST was running well for you yesterday, Mr. Scott. You think MIA looks like a mini-CP now guys? Just wait...the 10 yr plans are freely hanging in a specific office of a specific person...and we're getting invaded by resorts, campgrounds, etc.

Resorts...now that will be a plus! I'm always in favor of staying on site. Still can't talk the 16 year old or the hubby into a trip yet, tho. They want more than Timbers. Guess I'm just easily amused. Had such a great time at Timbersfest.
