Goin to CP Saturday

I am going to Cedar Point this Saturday. I am looking for one heck of a time! I have a few questions, and I am hoping you guys can answer them.

1) Does anyone know if TTD has even a CHANCE at being open by Saturday?

2) What will crowds be like? What can I expect wait wise for the popular rides?

3) What is a good path to take around the park for maximum fun and ride time?

4) Where is the cheapest place to eat inside the park, and what's the best food in the park?

5) Can you please give me the best rides seats on all coasters! :D

6) Can someone tell me what time the Freeway stamps start stamping.

7) I am from Indiana, and the weather can get a bit crazy. Can be 80 out during the day, ut dip into the 50's at night. Should I bring a jacket since it is right on the lake?

8) Are there any rides besides the coasters you guys think I should hit?

4) Best food is probaly Johnny Rockets in the park or if you want a full meal you can go to the Breakers hotel and eat at T.G.I Fridays

7) It'd probaly be a good idea to pack a jacket just in case.

8) Power Tower, Troika, and Chaos are my favortire flats. If you want to shell out some money, i'd recommend riding Rip Cord in the challenge park. I just rode one at SF:Stl yesterday and it was awesome. Unlike any coaster.

I live 7 hours away so I can't answer all your questions. I just make my annual 3 day CP trip with Cue-Tip11 and thats it.

I saw the Ripcord thing on the Discovery show, and I think I am going to try it.

8) Dont forget Demon Drop thats pretty cool just dont go on it after eating at Johnny Rockets, or any other place for that matter. Its always good to do in right when you get there, its a good start to a good day.

1. TTD has a chance of being open

2. Expect moderate to heavy wait lines for the more popular rides(more than 45 minutes) like TTD, Millie, Raptor, and Mantis

3. All i can say is to not ride Raptor first because that is where the crowds will go first.

5. Millie-Front or back Magnum- 1:3 Mantis-towards the front Wicked Twister- back TTD- front or back Raptor- front or back

6. They usually start stamping at 11 am but it depends. There is a sign at the front of each freeway cart that tells you when they will start selling them or if they are all already given out.

7. The weather at Cedar Point is just how you described Indiana, crazy.

8. Ride Power Tower and Demon Drop. They are both great rides that shouldn't be missed.

You helped out a ton. I heard from another friend who has a coaster site that TTD has a chance at being open. Oh man I hope it is! :D

The cheapest place to eat in the park is the Midway Market. About $12 for an all you can eat buffet. The best food at Cedar Point is the Bay Harbor restaurant in the Marina. Expensive but excellent.

I'm going tomorrow and was hoping it would be open. The next time I'm there will be in July so I guess I'll ride it then.

And yeah, don't ride Raptor too early... start from the back of the park and work your way ahead. Try to ride Power Tower at least once, and also check out the Wicked Twister midway for Chaos and Troika's new locations.

Run to Millie in the morning and ride that first Then I think you should head over and ride Magnum followed by Gemini and then the mean streak. Then head up and get freeway for both Raptor and Mantis. later on at night from like 5:00-7:00 is when alot of people have dinner thats when you should ride the power tower wicked twister and if dragster is open the lines will probally be the shortest at that time. And hit all the little rides in between (id, corkscrew, dt, chaos, trokia, demon drop, cc mine ride, etc..) when the summer spactactular is going on frontier town probally be really cleared out and i bet you mean streak will be a walk on! hope all of this helps!

Raptor rocks!

The order i like to ride, if i'm doing the whole park is: Blue streak, Iron Dragon, Wildcat, MF, Mantis, corkscrew, magnum, gemini, Mean Streak, Cedar Creek mine ride, Power tower, eat, wicked twister, Disaster Transport, Raptor, Demon drop, Top thrill dragster, then dragster again, if it's open. Also, if you don't mind getting wet, check out the water rides, Snake river falls is just great!

Thanks guys, I have my stuff packed and we are leaving tomorrow. LOL. I am ready for this trip like no other, TTD or not, this is going to be a blast. Is holding your hands up down MF's first drop front car hard?

It depends on what you mean by hard. Physically it is easy. Mentally it depends on your courage. In my opinion, hands up is the only way to go down MF's first drop.
