Goin Next Week, a couple Questions

Hey everyone,

I am going next week to CP on Wednesday Night, Thursday, and Friday. Normally we stay at the Breakers but this year we are staying at Breakers Express because Breakers is booked :(

On the flip side the package includes Twilight Tickets. I have a good idea from previous experiences for an all day game plan, but what is the best way to 'experience the park' @ 6:00 when we get there, till closing?

Also, have all the rides gone to recordings this year? They still got mics on Raptor right? It just wouldn't be the same without "You go your clear you are goin outta here!, there goes the floor your out the door we'll see you back here in 224! The floor is sinking but you will be sailing...ok I'll stop ;)

There are many ways to approach this and I'm sure you'll get lots of good advice.

Since you're going to be there two days in addition to the evening, my suggestion would be to relax on Wednesday night and take the park at a slower pace. If you see a ride a short line, go for it. The back of the park tends to empty out towards the end of the evening. That might be a good place to head around 9 p.m. or so.

If you're interested in the laser show, Wednesday might be a good night to catch it. Otherwise, save Millennium Force or Dragster for last. Remember, the line closes when the park does ... the ride runs until the line is gone.

I'm wondering if Dragster is open, whether to hit it, in case its closed the next couple days.

Dragster has been running well. You don't have to worry about it being closed. Go ahead and jump in line just before closing, though. That's a good way to extend the evening.

TTD should be running all 3 days you're there unless the weather doesn't cooperate. They have been keeping it running pretty well this season. If the line is short on your first evening I say go for it. As far as autospiels go, most of the coasters have them, but some don't. I know Raptor, Gemini, Mantis, and DT all still have a person doing the spiel. I haven't ridden Mean Streak, Mine Ride, or Wildcat this season, so I don't know if they have autospiels or not.
