I was at Geauga Lake on Thurday the 14th. While riding Villain we always like to look into the boneyard and see the leftover parts especially the rocket ships. However, this time we noticed the boneyard had been mostly cleared and flattened out. Maybe they are clearing room for more waterpark pieces and parts. Anyone know whats going on in the boneyard! Was kinda dissapointed to see the rocket ships not there.
That's the land clearing for new stand-up, inverted, hyper, hydraulic launched wooden coaster called "Son of Raging Wolf Bobs"
I heard it has a corkscrew ;-)

They moved employee parking closer to the operations building. It was cleared for a new employee parking area..........sorry not so exciting.

Yeah, the boneyard is now employee parking.
Now the OLD employee parking lot, according to the Lemon Chill Guy(tm), is going to be the new home of Snoopy: Revenge of the Beagle. It will be the world's longest coaster, and will go UNDERNEATH the lake. Because of zoning issues, most of its 487 foot drop will be underground. The ride will go 143 miles per hour, and have a 60" height requirement! Best thing of all, it is being designed by B&M! The ride is estimated to cost $347 million, with most of the money coming from corporate sponsorship. (Most of the cost will be for boring a tunnel underneath the lake).
According to The Lemon Chill Guy(tm) "Snoopy: Revenge of the Beagle will be a one of a kind attraction, that will actually go 100 feet below the bottom of the lake. It will be the first ride of its kind in the world, and will feature elements never seen before on a steel roller coaster. The new ride will have an intense underground helix, and will feature of 9400' of tubular steel track. This ride will help Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom become the world's premier family amusement and water park."
The ride is projected to open in 2007, and construction should begin within the next month.

Tim didn't say anything about the boneyard being cleared for a ride so why are you guys jumping to conclusions over what he was asking? To be honest, I also saw that it was cleared while riding Villian one day and wondered the same thing. Thanks to Commish for an honest answer, which is probably all he wanted in the first place. (Not that I'm trying to speak for you Tim B)

I was joking. And he asked wether parts for new attractions would be stored there. Answer to that is no. Aren't I allowed to have a little fun?

Thanks Lainey for coming back on the smart comments. I don't think her comment was directed at you Sam but at the other guy. I was just wondering about possible waterpark stuff and maybe english blew it out of proportion. These are just parts of this site that have made the quality of coming here less desirable. I did find where everything was moved to and even was able to get a good look at everything that was moved. Another question i may have for you Sam is that i noticed another boneyard behind the WWK parking. Is the ride sitting back there the Music Express?
Even though the Boneyard is now employee parkining, there is still alot of room for GL to put in a new ride. When phase 2 of WWK opens they could put in a ride at the site of Hurricane Hannahs. Or put it by the old shark building.
