Giant Wheel location pre-Giant Wheel

I couldn't get over how great the Wheel looked in its new location. It really opens the area up. I've always though CP underutilized the lakeshore, (with the exception of the hotels and marina) crowding up the lakefront with buildings and such that block the view. I know that part of the Giant Wheel's new space was occupied by Kid Arthur's Court but wasn't there a building in there too? What was that building for and where did whatever was in there get relocated to?

Yes - the old bathhouse was removed a few years back.

It looks realy realy cool in that spot. Especialy with they new paint, and the lights look great at night. It realy does open that area up. I love it.

Gemini, you forgot to mention the (usually closed) frozen dessert stand and the (also usually closed) toy store. That building used to sit on the Giant Wheel site, and I'm pretty sure it's gone now. --Dave Althoff, Jr.
