Giant Wheel

Today I went on the webcams. I looked and found that the Giant Wheel is lit up. Does anybody know why?????

Maybe it's maintenance. There were a few times at the end of the season I saw the lights not all working.

if memory serves, last year there was a charity related flight that flew over CP, and it was lit up for that. Or maybe I was thinking of something else.

^ That is right but that came later and they turned on all the rides.

Not sure what this is now though.

It appears that Dragster's tower is lit up as well.

Several years ago, the Park would turn on many of the coaster lights during the Holiday season. They stopped doing that a while back; but, it was nice to see the lights from downtown Sandusky on a snowy, cold evening.

^ So im guessing that is what there doing?

Wayne B has it right. The flight to the North Pole was out of Cleveland Hopkins. Perfect timing with the snowfall we are getting.
