Geuaga Lake wild mouse

I saw a picture of a Wild Mouse coaster at GL on another website. The coaster was evidently across from the Bug near the Big Dipper. The Monorail can be seen in the picture so the ride must have been there until about 1970 or so. I first went to GL in 1972 and know it wasn't there then. Anyone rememeber the Wild Mouse here and what year it opened and when it was removed.

RCDB says Wild Mouse "operated from perhaps 1958 to the 1970s".

Are you talking about a Wild Mouse, or are you talking about a Zyklon?

I ask, because Geauga Lake had a Zyklon at one time, which was sold to Holiday World where it operated as the Firecracker, until they sold it to a traveling show which booked it into an amusement park for a year and then traveled with it until they sold it to Amusements of America which overhauled the ride and now calls it the Avalanche.

This must be the picture you are referring to:

(note new address)

It was removed after the 1970 season. From what I recall in the days I visited the park from my first recollections in the mid 60's it was hardly ever operating. The area that it was located in was the end of the park. The parks boundaries around that time were the exact path that the monorail now takes.
