getting stuck

has anyone been stuck at the top of a cp coaster? did you have to walk down? did they give some pass or coupon? i am very interested in coasters getting stuck as i am hoping to get stuck this year(am i wierd?). my bro got stuck on top of loch ness at bgw and they gave him a little ticket that got him and anyone who rode with him to the front of any line in the park exept for that pompeii ride (which was new that year)i think back in '95. needless to say we rode roman rapids about 15 times. does cp give a ticket or anythng like this?

I got stuck at the top of Mantis once. They didn't give us anything but one if of the gals that was running the ride came up and was talking to everyone.

I was stuck on the Magnum lift about 20ft from the top. It was very, very cool. It was a nice day out and the weather was perfect. I was up there with Jerry Fleming and we were up there for about 20 minutes. When our Magnum girl came up to check on us, Jerry had his point and shoot in his belt back and we got a picture stuck ontop of the lift. I really, really wanted a walk down. Finally when the ride went back up Eddie Vici(sp?) was waiting at the exit and handed everyone reride tickets. I still have mine in my Magnum book.

Go stuck at the top of the first hill of the Iron Dragon...When we came back, they gave us the option of getting off or riding again....Of course, we rode again!

I got stuck at the top of the 1st lift hill of the Iron Dragon. Me and my friend and about 6 other people were stuck of about 45 minutes. We had to walk down. I thought that it was cool. I just wished that I could have been stuck at the top of the Magnum lift, and had to of walked down. But we got reride tickets. It was Sweet!

Middle of Raptor's lift for about 20 minutes. Computer problems all day. I was really pulling for a stop at the mid-course!

Walked off of CCMR's second lift a couple of years back -- she set up when the crew didn't dispatch train 2 before we went over the top. We were up there for about half an hour before the crew decided that they couldn't reset the ride with us on the train. Got a ride pass, used it on Magnum.

Hmmm, Raptor seems to have the most stranded people so far :)

Me, too -- ~20 minutes a few years ago.

More often than not when a train stops on the Raptor lift it is due to some guest not using common sense and taking off their seatbelt.

Gemini, Wildcat, Mine Ride and Mean Streak.

I got two stops on the same ride last year. =) About 1-2 minutes each. Raptor was plagued that day. In 45 minutes, I saw 8 stops.

U know what, I think it would be pretty koo to get stuck on top of the Millennium Force. Just to be up that high stuck up there, enjoy the view...just ahhhhh...beautiful...heh

Top of the Demon Drop- spent the duration of the queue counting the, "1-2-3 [drop]," whereas until we got up there, was like clockwork. When we got to the top it was more like, "1-2-3... 4... 5... // 9... 10... ok, this suc- [drop]. Really unnerving.

Got stuck on top of Gemini once. And it was my friend's fault! He accidentally dropped his hat and it covered up one of the motion sensors causing the chain lift to stop. What an idiot. Lol!

My first time on Raptor - about halfway up the lift. Was rather unnerving because I was frightened enough as it was! I got tired of hearing that automatic "You're ride will be restarted shortly" speil. Must've heard it a good 15 times before it was restarted!

I got stuck on my first ride on the corkscrew when I was about 13. I didn't want to go on the ride in the first place, so it didn't help my nerves any.
